Pressure Washing & Soft Wash Training
Expert Power Wash runs hands-on pressure washing and soft wash training at our Oregon City, Oregon shop. We ran our own washing business for over a decade before we started building equipment, so the training covers what actually goes wrong on a job — not theory.
What training covers
- Downstreaming: injector setup, draw rates, and why your soap is not pulling (our downstream calculator covers the injector sizing and bleach-mix math)
- Soft wash systems: 12V pumps, mixers, metering valves and mix ratios
- Unloader setup and adjustment, and what a flow-sensitive unloader actually does
- Choosing GPM and nozzles for the work you are bidding
- Surface cleaner setup and flatwork production
- Chemical handling, dilution and safety around sodium hypochlorite (our soft wash mix calculator covers the batch-tank math)
- Running the rig day to day: maintenance, winterizing, and the failure points to watch
Free training with every build
Anyone who buys a custom skid, trailer or van setup from us gets training on their own rig included, plus anytime phone troubleshooting afterwards. If you are new to the industry, that is the point of buying from a builder instead of a catalog — you leave knowing how to run it.
Classes and events
We run a scheduled soft wash training class at the shop about once a quarter and attend industry events around the country. The next class dates and sign-up are at the top of this page whenever a class is open. Questions? Call the shop at 503-403-6185 or email Orders@expertpowerwash.com. Store hours are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Pacific.
Already running a business and stuck on something specific? See our business help page, or read the Help Articles for written walkthroughs on downstreaming, unloaders, soft wash nozzles and GPM sizing.
