Every EPW skid and trailer is engineered around one question: where does equipment fail in the real world? We know, because we've been there — and we fixed every one of those fail points.

We Washed First

Before Expert Power Wash built equipment, we ran a pressure washing business for more than ten years. Trailers, box trucks, flatbeds, vans, skids — we ran nearly all of it, on big commercial work where equipment gets pushed hard every single day.

That decade taught us exactly where equipment breaks down: the tank that rattles loose, the wiring that fails on a long run, the clamp that starts leaking six months in, the reel that rusts out from chemicals. Every EPW build is the answer to a problem we lived through ourselves.

We build every piece of equipment like we were going to run it ourselves — because for ten years, we did.

Built Stronger

Skids built like a tank. Our skids are welded — not bolted — from aircraft-grade 5052 aluminum at a full quarter-inch thick, where most builders use aluminum half that. We double-brace every skid, add extra gussets and support bars, and build shelves that actually carry the weight they're asked to hold. Forklift pockets come built in. Yes, they're a little heavier. Yes, they cost a little more. But you can't compare a skid built with roughly double the material to one that isn't — this is equipment built to last a lifetime.

Trailers custom-built for this industry. We don't buy a utility trailer off the lot and bolt equipment to it. Our steel trailers are custom-built locally in Oregon, designed one-on-one with our trailer manufacturer specifically for pressure washing: reel racks welded directly into the frame, ladder rack options with middle support bars, upgraded axles, and black rims. It's a pressure washing trailer from the ground up — not a utility trailer with a pressure washer on it.

Tanks that stay put. Our tanks run roughly double the wall thickness of what many builders use, and our pressure washer tanks don't bulge. Every build gets heavy-duty tank straps — because a tank full of liquid that rattles loose over time isn't an inconvenience, it's a serious problem. We've seen it happen. It doesn't happen on our builds.

Layouts designed to work. Every build is laid out for efficiency and serviceability — so your crew moves fast on the job and your equipment is easy to maintain for years.

Powered Right

Honda engines. Period. We build exclusively with Honda — simply the most reliable engines in the industry — paired with upgraded pumps. This is where many builders quietly cut corners. We don't.

Electrical matched to the system. Every build uses USA-made, marine-grade, pure-stranded copper wiring — upsized for the load. Cheaper wire with filler material can't carry current reliably on longer runs, and it's behind a huge share of the electrical failures we see on other builds. Our fuses and fuse links are properly rated to the amps the system actually pushes, so everything works together.

A battery that pulls its weight. We spec the Interstate marine-grade Gold Series battery on our builds — chosen because it lasts and delivers consistent amperage to every electrical component. Some builders skip the battery entirely. We consider it part of the system.

Plumbed to Last

Kuri Tec plumbing throughout. Bulk poly braid and cheap suction hose are one of the most common corners cut in this industry. We plumb every build with Kuri Tec — proven, better material, longer life.

Stainless steel clamps — all the way through. Every clamp on an EPW build is stainless, including the screw, not just the band. On suction lines we use a full-stainless clamp with a stainless bolt that we source from the UK. Nobody else uses them because they cost more. We use them because they last longer and leak less.

Soft wash components built for bleach. Sodium hypochlorite destroys standard components. Our soft wash mixers use a Hastelloy-spring check valve instead of the common stainless-spring version — dramatically more resistant to SH and far longer-lasting. Our mixing valves are upgraded with Viton seals, and we don't use the imported bargain valves flooding the market. Soft wash systems run Flojet 12V pumps, with gas soft wash upgrades available.

Reels that won't rust out. Full-frame aluminum reels with stainless steel internals — no powder-coated steel that chemicals eat through over time.

Hose that outperforms. We run FierceJet smooth-jacket, gray non-marking wire hose — rated for hot water, with one of the highest burst ratings on the market.

Hardware That Holds

Every bolt, nut, and fastener securing equipment to an EPW skid or trailer is 316 stainless steel. It doesn't corrode, it doesn't break, and it holds up year after year in an industry that's brutal on hardware. Wherever possible, we build with USA-made components.

Our fabricator is a 15-year veteran welder who has taught welding classes — the kind of experience it takes to build aluminum pressure washing skids the right way.
