Our V2 100-gallon slim buffer tank: the same slim vertical footprint as the V1, redesigned with internal supports so the walls stay flat when the tank is full. This is the buffer tank on our current skid and trailer builds.
- 100 gallons in a 48 in. wide x 13 in. deep x 45 in. tall footprint (48 in. to the top of the lid), about 73 lb empty
- Internally supported walls, no bulging, no sagging straps as it ages
- 42 inches between the 6 x 3 in. bottom cutouts for strap placement
- Heavy-wall construction, about twice the thickness of typical builder tanks
V2 or V1? The V1 100 Gallon Vertical Tank is the original at the same price, an inch thinner and six inches shorter, with two lids, and is the one we use for bleach storage. If load height is not a constraint, buy the V2. Add tank straps and the buffer tank plumbing kit to finish the install.
Common questions
What is a buffer tank for?
It sits between the customer's spigot and your pump so an 8 GPM machine never starves on a 5 GPM hose bib. Without one, the pump cavitates and wears out early. 100 gallons is the right size for one machine up to 8 GPM.
Will it fit under a tonneau or in a van?
At 48 inches to the top of the lid it is taller than most bed rails, so plan on it standing above the rail behind the cab. For low-roof vans and covered beds, look at the shorter V1 or the 50 gallon slim tanks.
Does it ship free?
