The PVC Type-21 SST Flow Control Ball Valve is a professional-grade chemical metering valve designed for precise, dependable flow adjustment. Its precision-machined flow-control ball and seat provide smooth, repeatable chemical adjustments—making it an excellent choice for soft-wash proportioning systems and blend manifolds where accurate control of water, sodium hypochlorite, and surfactant flow is essential.

Unlike a standard ball valve intended primarily for ON/OFF operation, this flow-control valve offers equal-percentage flow characteristics for more precise metering throughout the valve’s operating range. The graduated indicator plate and handle position line make it easier to record and repeat mixture settings from one job to the next.

The true union design allows the valve body to be removed for inspection, cleaning, or service without cutting apart the plumbing system. PTFE seats provide permanent lubrication and help maintain a bubble-tight seal, while elastomeric seat cushions compensate for wear and maintain consistent pressure against the ball. Dual stem O-rings and carrier seals help prevent external leakage.

Orders placed by 2pm Pacific, Monday–Thursday, ship the same day from Oregon City, OR. Orders placed after 2pm on Thursday, or Friday through Sunday, ship the following Monday. Flat-rate shipping is $8.95 on orders under $50 and $12.95 on orders from $50 to $148.99. Orders of $149 or more ship free within the lower 48 states — some large items have their own shipping rate, shown at checkout.

Returns

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies, and some items — like chemicals and cut-to-length hose — can't be returned. See our Return Policy for details.
