Transit Pressure Washing Van Build

This is our complete Transit van pressure washing and soft wash build — a full washing operation, plus Tucker pure water window cleaning, built into a van the customer provides. Built by hand in Oregon City, Oregon. The build shown is a 2020 Ford Transit.

A van build is about floor space. Our goal on every one of these is to maximize it while making the setup as efficient as possible — custom-fabricated mounting for the reels, tanks, and soft wash system, an exhaust vented through the floor, and on qualifying vans, a fuel system that pulls straight from the van's own gas tank so there's no separate fuel tank eating space.

Power

• ✓  Honda GX690 gear drive pressure washer with our block-mounted K7 unloader — 8 GPM, 3500 PSI, the balance point for commercial and residential cleaning
• ✓  Custom-fabricated exhaust system vented through the floor of the van
• ✓  Fuel system that pulls from the van's gas tank (requires additional work; not all vans qualify)
• ✓  Deep cycle marine battery runs the soft wash system, powers the reels, and starts the pressure washer

Reels

• ✓  Custom-fabricated reel mounting system in 1/4 inch heavy-duty aircraft-grade aluminum
• ✓  Three Titan electric 12-inch hose reels with upgraded stainless manifolds resistant to sodium hypochlorite
• ✓  Three premium heavy-duty 12-inch hose reel guides with rollers

Water & Chemical Tanks

• ✓  100-gallon slim buffer tank (a second slim tank can be added to increase capacity)
• ✓  55-gallon bleach tank and 7-gallon soap tank, on custom-built mounting brackets
• ✓  Hudson float valve assembly, 1-inch drain hose assembly, and Teejet filter system to keep the pump clean

The Soft Wash System

• ✓  Remco 7 GPM 100 PSI dual control soft wash pump — the new upgraded version that performs better and reduces pump cycling
• ✓  Pro Mixer XL soft wash metering system with oversized valves and plumbing

Hose & Guns

• ✓  200 ft of grey heavy-duty one-wire non-marking pressure hose with our custom crimped whip line — fewer fittings and the hose lays flat on the reel
• ✓  200 ft of 1/2 inch soft wash hose with custom crimped ends
• ✓  100 ft of Flexzilla 3/4 inch garden hose with our original garden whip line
• ✓  Assembled 36-inch pressure washer gun and lance, soft wash gun with stainless fittings, and stainless J-rod four-nozzle holder with stainless soft wash nozzles

Tucker Pure Water Window Cleaning

• ✓  Tucker 4-stage pure water window cleaning system (a metal bulkhead must be installed prior to the build)
• ✓  Tucker hose reel with 150 ft of 3/8 inch hose, on a mounting system that secures the reel but keeps it mobile when needed
• ✓  100 ft of 5/16 inch Tucker water fed pole hose
